My mom and dad and 2 brothers came to visit this summer! We had so much fun with them!
Papa Ken and Taisley at the beach.
Papa Ken, Kenric, Trent and Trav.
We drove up to the Old Westbury Gardens. It was very humid and hot that day. The gardens were still just as gorgeous as I remember them from last year.
On the really hot days, Taisley liked to sit in front of the AC unit just like the rest of us.
Hot + Humid = uncomfortable!
This is Jo-Mari. She is one of my very dear friends here on Long Island. Taisley LOVES Jo and gets so excited every time she sees her. Jo loves the city and so my family and I were lucky enough to have her be our "tour guide" for the day. It took the pressure off my shoulders. :) We had so much fun!
Train ride to the city.
Grand Central Station
Manhattan Temple
We ate Shake Shack for lunch......yum yum yum!
We took a much needed rest in Central Park.
I love these 2 brothers of mine....aren't they so cute? :)
The whole trip Taisley called both of them Trent, she figured they looked pretty much the same.
We got tickets to the "Top of the Rock". You take an elevator to the top of the Rockefeller building and it is one of the most amazing views of Manhattan! We watched the sun go down. It was awesome!
Ellie, one of my best friends from AZ, was living in the city for the summer so she was able to meet up with us for part of the day. She was able to spend lots of weekends with us in Long Island this summer. It was so fun spending time with her!
Time Square!
We went to the outlets while my family was here and little miss diva, Taisley, was having fun playing with all of the accessories in the store. She is such a crack up.
Trav was still busy with school during their visit but he was able to take them to the city and see Statue of Liberty on 4th of July! What a perfect day to see Lady Liberty. It was actually the very 1st day she was open since the hurricane happened last October. I was so happy they got to go see it while they were here.
9/11 Memorial
They brought Taisley back a lady liberty rubber duck.
I was trying to get a picture of her on 4th of July, this was my result......
I love this lady so much!!!
Pretty close to our house is 'Westbrook Elementary School'. I made them get a picture by it. :)
It sure was fun having the Westbrook's come visit!!! Love you guys!
