We were thrilled to have Trav's parents here in NY with us for Thanksgiving!
It was so nice to be with family during the holiday.
I had so much fun spending the day in the kitchen cooking with Becky. Our dinner turned out delicious!
We also had our friends, The Phillips, over for Thanksgiving dinner.
They are from Thatcher, AZ and are serving a mission for our church here in NY.
We still can't believe we both ended up in NY at the same time.
We went to a Holocaust Museum up on the North Shore. It was really informative and really got you thinking. So many sad and touching stories.
After the museum we walked down to the Long Island Sound, it was freezing but it was still really pretty. You can see Connecticut across the water from where we were standing. It would be very enjoyable to go back during the warm summer months.
We took a walk along the Robert Moses beach down to
the lighthouse which is about 10 min from our house.
Papi holding the lighthouse in his hand :)
Every time I see this picture I just crack up. So apparently the farthest end of the Robert Moses beach has a nude beach area. Once we get to the walkway for the lighthouse there is this 'clothing required' sign posted in the ground, haha. It was freezing outside...who is going to be running around naked on the beach? haha so strange! We told JD to be silly and go take a picture by it. It was really funny!
We all got to go to a NY Islanders hockey game together. Taisley had a great time.
Taisley had so much fun with her Papi and B's House here entertaining her for a week. Time always flies too fast when family comes to visit. Love you guys!
